The term "print size" refers to the image area, not the overall size of the paper the image is printed on. All prints include a sizable border to allow safe handling, usually from 1-3 inches in width. Sample.

Prints are made on highly rated professional papers using archival inks.
In most cases, mats are cut from Crescent #3290,
an off-white board with a slightly beige cast.
